The use of sunscreen is extremely important, it helps to fight skin cancer, which can be caused by long exposure to the sun. Avoiding heatstroke, burns, stains, premature aging, flaccidity, injuries, among other complications.

Sunscreen should not be used only on sunny days, it should be used every day including winter.

SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor.

It's easy to understand: If a person's skin takes five minutes to suffer the effects of the sun, using an SPF 30 sunscreen can stay 30 times longer than that period, that is, 150 minutes.

UVA and UVB rays are produced and emanated by the sun. As they are invisible, we cannot perceive them, only feel their effects on our bodies.

> UVA rays are the most worrying for human health, they reach us every day, regardless of the weather, whether it is cold, rain, snow, sun, or drizzle, they are present. At daybreak, the UVA rays are already in action, regardless of the time. They penetrate deeper into our skin and are responsible for premature aging, skin blemishes, allergies, and diseases such as skin cancer. UVA rays represent 95% of the solar radiation emitted by the sun.

> UVB rays penetrate more superficially into the skin and cause the redness and sunburn typical of the hot seasons of the year, they represent only 5% of the radiation. UVB rays intensify after  9 am and stay until 4 pm when the sun is positioned more directly with the earth.

Now that you know, don't forget to use yours every day!
